MEMS oscillator — no load-cap guesswork
That means you do not need to match a load capacitance or worry about drive level — the silicon resonator is trimmed at the factory and the CMOS output swings rail-to-rail into the clock input of an MCU or FPGA. The 8 MHz fixed frequency with ±25 ppm absolute pull range (APR) holds the clock tight enough for UART baud-rate generation and basic CAN timing without external trimming components.
The 2.25V to 3.6V supply range covers 2.5V and 3.3V rails commonly found on Cortex-M and FPGA boards — no separate regulator needed for the oscillator.
Enable/Disable function and package
The 6-VDFN package (5.00mm x 3.20mm x 0.90mm) is a standard 6-pin footprint — the same land pattern used by many 8 MHz quartz oscillators, so a board layout swap is straightforward.
