The DSC1121BI1-020.0000T is a 20 MHz MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator from Microchip Technology's DSC1121 series, delivering a CMOS output with an enable/disable function. The MEMS resonator replaces the quartz crystal, eliminating cold-start frequency drift and improving shock/vibration tolerance — a real advantage on a factory floor or in an engine bay where a crystal can crack or start slow.
Package and board-fit checklist
Housed in a 6-VDFN package measuring 5.00mm x 3.20mm with a seated height of 0.90mm. Surface-mount, tape-and-reel delivery. The enable/disable pin lets you gate the output for power savings — the disable current max is 22 mA versus 35 mA active. No special layout tricks: standard decoupling cap near the supply pin, keep the output trace short to the load.
