MEMS oscillator for harsh environments
AEC-Q100 qualification confirms it meets automotive reliability stress and PPAP requirements, making it a valid clock source for under-hood ECUs and chassis-domain controllers.
Frequency stability and supply tolerance
Frequency stability is ±25 ppm over the full temperature range — tight enough for most MCU, FPGA, and Ethernet PHY reference clocks without requiring a TCXO. Maximum supply current is 35 mA when enabled and 22 mA when disabled via the Enable/Disable function, allowing the oscillator to be gated for power-sensitive sleep modes.
Housed in a 6-SMD, No Lead Exposed Pad package measuring 7.00 mm x 5.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm, the DSC1121AM2-010.0000 is a surface-mount oscillator that reflows on standard lead-free profiles. The MEMS resonator inside is inherently more shock- and vibration-tolerant than a quartz blank — a practical advantage for factory-floor automation and mobile equipment.
