50 MHz MEMS oscillator with CMOS output
The DSC1121AM1-050.0000T is a 50 MHz XO (Standard) oscillator from Microchip's DSC1121 series, delivering a CMOS output with ±50 ppm frequency stability across a 2.25V to 3.6V supply range. Its MEMS resonator replaces the quartz crystal — expect faster startup and better resistance to shock and vibration compared to a traditional crystal oscillator.
Automotive temperature range and qualification
AEC-Q100 qualification means it has passed the automotive-grade reliability stress tests: temperature cycling, ESD, and latch-up immunity per the standard.
Enable/Disable function and supply current
The Enable/Disable pin lets you gate the output — useful for power sequencing or test modes. When disabled, the supply current drops to 22 mA max from the 35 mA max active draw.
Housed in a 6-SMD, No Lead Exposed Pad package measuring 7.00mm x 5.00mm x 0.90mm, it fits a standard oscillator footprint — no special layout changes needed for a drop-in replacement.
