The DSC1121AM1-032.7680 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator from Microchip's DSC1121 series, delivering a 32.768 MHz CMOS output across a wide 2.25V to 3.6V supply range. The MEMS resonator gives it an edge over quartz in shock and vibration tolerance — the silicon die doesn't crack the way a quartz blank does when a board takes a hit. The 6-VDFN exposed pad package (7.00mm x 5.00mm, 0.90mm seated height) needs a thermal via pattern under the pad to pull heat out; the datasheet layout recommendation is worth following for the full temp range.
Max supply current is 35mA when enabled, dropping to 22mA in the disabled state. The 22mA disabled current is higher than some competitors' parts; if your design sleeps the oscillator for long periods, a load switch on the supply rail might save more power.
