When disabled, the oscillator draws 22 mA max — still present, but lower than the 35 mA max active current. For a battery-backed real-time clock or a sensor node that sleeps most of the time, that 22 mA idle draw matters; if you need lower sleep current, a dedicated enable pin on the downstream logic might be a better gating point.

Housed in a 6-VDFN exposed-pad package measuring 7.00 mm x 5.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm. The 0.50 mm pitch is fine for two-layer boards if the fan-out traces are kept short.

The MEMS resonator means no quartz supply constraints, but the 6-VDFN package is less common than a standard 7x5 mm ceramic SMD — confirm the footprint matches your PCB layout before committing.
