165 MHz MEMS oscillator with AEC-Q100 qualification
The DSC1121AI2-165.0000T is a 165 MHz XO (Standard) oscillator built on a MEMS resonator rather than a quartz crystal, outputting a CMOS-level clock. AEC-Q100 qualification means this part has passed the automotive-grade reliability stress tests — temperature cycling, ESD, latch-up — so it fits BOM lines destined for under-hood or cabin electronics where a quartz oscillator might not hold its accuracy over the vehicle lifetime.
Supply range and disable function
The supply voltage spans 2.25 V to 3.6 V, covering the common 2.5 V and 3.3 V logic rails without an external regulator. The Enable/Disable function lets a downstream controller gate the clock output; when disabled the supply current drops from 35 mA max to 22 mA max, which helps in power-sensitive or standby modes.
Package and board-level fit
Housed in a 6-SMD no-lead exposed pad package measuring 7.00 mm x 5.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm, the DSC1121AI2-165.0000T uses a standard 7x5 mm footprint. The exposed pad on the underside should be soldered to a ground-plane copper pour for thermal and mechanical stability — the datasheet's recommended land pattern shows the via placement under the pad.
