125.0037 MHz MEMS oscillator for automotive timing
The DSC1121AI2-125.0037 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator delivering a precise 125.0037 MHz CMOS output. This frequency is common in high-speed serial interfaces (e.g., Gigabit Ethernet, PCIe reference clocks) and automotive Ethernet or camera links where the ±25 ppm stability keeps the bit-error rate within the link budget. AEC-Q100 qualification means this part is characterized and reliability-tested for automotive temperature ranges and stress conditions — suitable for under-hood or cabin electronics where a standard commercial oscillator would drift or fail.
Supply voltage and power budget
Maximum supply current is 35 mA; in disable mode (Enable/Disable function,) it drops to 22 mA, useful for power-save states in battery-backed or ignition-controlled modules.
Housed in a 6-SMD, No Lead Exposed Pad package measuring 7.00 mm x 5.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm. The exposed pad requires a thermal via pattern under the package for heat conduction — the datasheet's recommended land pattern should be followed to avoid solder voids. Surface-mount assembly is standard reflow; the MEMS resonator is less sensitive to board flex than a quartz crystal, but the same 0.50 mm stencil aperture rules apply.
