MEMS oscillator at 100 MHz – AEC-Q100 qualified
The DSC1121AI2-100.0000T is a MEMS-based XO (standard oscillator) delivering a 100 MHz CMOS output from a 2.25V to 3.6V supply rail. The MEMS resonator replaces a quartz crystal, giving it better shock and vibration tolerance than a conventional crystal oscillator — relevant for automotive and industrial environments where the board sees mechanical stress.
Enable/Disable function and supply current
The Enable/Disable pin lets the system shut down the oscillator output without removing the supply — useful for power-sensitive designs that gate the clock during sleep modes. When disabled, the supply current drops from 35 mA max to 22 mA max, still drawing power for the internal MEMS bias circuitry.
Package and board layout
Housed in a 6-SMD no-lead exposed pad package measuring 7.00 mm x 5.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm. The exposed pad should be soldered to a ground-plane thermal land on the PCB.
