Active MEMS oscillator for 81 MHz clock trees
Supply voltage spans 2.25 V to 3.6 V, covering 2.5 V and 3.3 V logic rails from the same BOM line; the Enable/Disable function lets the system gate the clock for power savings, dropping supply current from 35 mA (max) to 22 mA (max) when disabled.
Housed in a 6-VDFN with exposed pad (7.00 mm x 5.00 mm, 0.90 mm seated height), the part requires a thermal via pattern under the pad for heat dissipation — a standard two-layer board with a ground-plane stitch works, but the pad must be soldered to the PCB, not left floating. The 0.276" x 0.197" footprint matches industry-standard 7x5 mm oscillator land patterns, so it drops into existing layouts without a board spin if the supply voltage and output type align.
Listed as Active by Microchip — no end-of-life notice, no NRND flag.
