MEMS oscillator for automotive clock trees
AEC-Q100 qualification means this oscillator has passed the automotive-grade stress tests for temperature cycling, ESD, and latch-up — it is suited for under-hood ECUs, ADAS sensor modules, and body controllers where a quartz crystal might drift with vibration or thermal shock. The Enable/Disable function lets the system pull the output to high-impedance, cutting supply current from 35 mA to 22 mA — useful for power-save modes in battery-backed automotive modules.
Supply voltage and output compatibility
CMOS output drives standard digital loads directly; no termination or level translation needed for most 3.3 V or 2.5 V clock inputs.
Surface-mount reflow follows standard lead-free profiles; the MEMS resonator is inherently more shock-tolerant than a quartz crystal, reducing the risk of start-up failures in high-vibration environments.
