12 MHz MEMS XO with AEC-Q100 qualification
The DSC1121AE1-012.0000T is a 12 MHz MEMS-based oscillator (XO) from Microchip's DSC1121 series, delivering a CMOS output with enable/disable function. Its AEC-Q100 rating qualifies it for automotive temperature and reliability requirements, making it suitable for under-hood or cabin electronics where a quartz crystal would need additional screening. Operating from a 2.25V to 3.6V supply, it spans 2.5V and 3.3V logic rails without a separate LDO, simplifying the power tree on mixed-voltage boards.
Active lifecycle — design-in ready
This is a current-production part available for new designs and volume builds. No official successor or cross-reference is documented; the DSC1121 series is the active family.
Supplied in a 6-SMD, no-lead exposed-pad package measuring 7.00 mm x 5.00 mm x 0.90 mm. The exposed pad provides a thermal path to the PCB ground plane; a solid via array under the pad improves heat dissipation in high-ambient automotive environments. Supplied on tape and reel for automated pick-and-place.
