100 MHz MEMS clock for PCIe reference designs
The DSC1104DE5-100.0000T is a 100 MHz MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC1104 series, delivering an HCSL output — the logic level required by PCIe Gen1 through Gen4 root complexes and switches, as well as 100GbE MAC/PHY reference clocks. Its ±10 ppm absolute pull range (APR) covers spread-spectrum modulation and fine frequency tuning; the 2.25V to 3.6V supply range lets it run from either a 2.5V or 3.3V rail without a separate regulator. Maximum supply current is 42 mA.
Package, footprint, and temperature grade
Housed in a 6-VDFN package measuring 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm max. The small footprint suits space-constrained PCIe add-in cards, SFP+ modules, and compact switch designs.
