27 MHz HCSL clock with MEMS resonator
The DSC1104CI3-027.0000 is a 27 MHz MEMS-based XO (Standard) that outputs HCSL — a differential logic family commonly used as a reference clock for PCIe, USB 3.0, and SERDES lanes. Supply voltage spans 2.25V to 3.6V, so the same part works on both 2.5V and 3.3V rails without a dedicated regulator.
The 2.25V to 3.6V supply input means it can be powered directly from a 2.5V or 3.3V rail — no external LDO needed, which saves board area and BOM cost. In a battery-backed design, the standby current is low enough that the oscillator does not dominate the sleep budget — leaving the bulk of the quiescent draw for the MCU or transceiver.
