156.25 MHz HCSL clock for high-speed serial links
The DSC1104BE1-156.2500 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip delivering a 156.25 MHz HCSL output — the frequency and logic family commonly used as a reference clock for PCIe Gen1/2/3, 10GbE, and other high-speed serial interfaces. The HCSL (High-Speed Current Steering Logic) output provides the low-jitter, differential swing required by these PHYs without external termination resistors in many cases.
Standby power — 95 µA disable current
This makes the DSC1104BE1-156.2500 suitable for systems that cycle between full-speed operation and low-power sleep modes — think network switches with Energy-Efficient Ethernet or industrial controllers that idle between production cycles.
The wide supply range (2.25V to 3.6V) covers 2.5V and 3.3V rails without an external regulator, simplifying BOM consolidation.
