135 MHz LVDS MEMS oscillator for industrial timing
The DSC1103CL5-135.0000 is a 135 MHz MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC1103 series, delivering an LVDS output — a differential pair that rejects common-mode noise and drives long PCB traces or cables cleanly at this frequency. Its MEMS resonator is inherently more shock- and vibration-tolerant than a quartz crystal, which matters if the board lives in a motor drive, outdoor telecom cabinet, or engine bay.
Supply voltage and frequency stability for BOM fit
Frequency stability is ±10 ppm, tight enough for most serial interfaces (Gigabit Ethernet, PCIe reference clocks) without needing a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator. When the clock is not needed, the Standby (Power Down) function drops supply current to 95 µA max — useful for gating the oscillator in battery-powered or duty-cycled systems.
Package and mounting for layout planning
Housed in a 6-SMD, No Lead package measuring 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm. Surface-mount assembly with standard reflow profiles; the no-lead package has a flat bottom for good solder-joint inspection.
