300 MHz LVDS clock source for high-speed interfaces
The DSC1103CI5-300.0000 is a 300 MHz XO (Standard) with LVDS output, built on a MEMS resonator — no quartz crystal aging concerns, and the frequency is set at the factory, so no external load capacitors are needed. Rated across -40°C to +85°C with ±10 ppm frequency stability, it holds the clock edge tight enough for 1 GbE, PCIe Gen 1, or SATA reference clock applications without a separate TCXO. Supply voltage spans 2.25V to 3.63V, so it runs from a 2.5V or 3.3V rail directly — no extra LDO needed for the oscillator alone.
At 32 mA max during active operation, the 300 MHz LVDS oscillator draws less than many fixed-frequency quartz oscillators at the same speed, keeping the local thermal rise low on a dense board.
6-SMD, No Lead package and board fit
Housed in a 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm 6-SMD, No Lead package with a seated height of 0.90 mm max — this is the standard 3.2×2.5 mm footprint that matches many LVDS oscillators, so a layout designed for a SiTime or Epson part often accepts the DSC1103 without a pad change. Surface-mount only; the small land pattern suits tight card-edge designs or multi-gigabit switch line cards where board real estate is at a premium.
