156.25 MHz LVDS clock source for SERDES and FPGA reference designs
The DSC1103CE5-156.2500T is a MEMS-based XO delivering a 156.25 MHz LVDS output — a common reference frequency for 10GbE, CPRI, and FPGA transceiver banks. Maximum supply current is 32 mA, low enough that a small LDO or filtered rail can feed it. The Standby (Power Down) function pulls the output to high-impedance and drops the disable current to 95 µA — useful in battery-backed or duty-cycled systems where the clock tree must be gated off during sleep without a dedicated load switch.
Active production — no LTB window to track
Microchip lists the DSC1103CE5-156.2500T as Active. Sourced through independent distribution; quoted to order against the BOM quantity.
6-SMD footprint and commercial temp grade
Housed in a 6-SMD, No Lead package measuring 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm. The -20°C to +70°C operating range matches indoor telecom, networking, and test equipment — not rated for extended industrial or outdoor use. The MEMS base resonator gives better shock and vibration immunity than a quartz crystal in the same footprint.
