156.25 MHz LVDS clock source — MEMS, not quartz
Output is LVDS, so the differential pair drives terminated lines directly. The supply voltage range of 2.25 V to 3.63 V covers both 2.5 V and 3.3 V rails without a separate regulator; it works on a 3.3 V supply as-is.
Frequency stability and temperature envelope
The -20°C lower limit means the oscillator is suited for indoor telecom, data-centre switches, and office equipment; if the board sees outdoor or engine-bay temperatures, the DSC1103 series offers extended-temperature variants.
At 32 mA max draw, the oscillator's power consumption is low enough for most line-powered designs; the disable current of 95 µA means a battery-powered device can leave the oscillator powered but disabled during deep sleep and still meet single-digit-microwatt standby targets.
Housed in a no-lead package measuring 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm — the 0.126" x 0.098" footprint is a common MEMS oscillator land pattern shared across the DSC1103 family.
