156.25 MHz LVDS reference for high-speed serial links
The DSC1103CE1-156.2500 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator delivering a 156.25 MHz LVDS output — a common reference frequency for Gigabit Ethernet, PCIe Gen 1/2/3, and SFP+ modules. The LVDS differential pair provides clean edge rates and common-mode rejection, reducing jitter on long board traces compared to a single-ended CMOS oscillator at the same frequency. Supply voltage spans 2.25V to 3.63V, so the same part can run on a 2.5V or 3.3V rail without a dedicated LDO — useful when the FPGA or SerDes bank already provides one of those voltages.
Microchip lists the DSC1103CE1-156.2500 as Active.
