250 MHz LVDS MEMS oscillator — what it does in the assembly
At this frequency and with LVDS signalling, it is the reference for a SERDES transceiver, a high-speed FPGA clock input, or a 10G Ethernet PHY — anywhere the edge jitter budget is tight and a quartz oscillator's warm-up drift is a problem. The MEMS resonator means no quartz crystal inside — the oscillator starts faster and holds frequency across temperature without the aging curve of a crystal. ±10 ppm stability over -40 to 85°C keeps the 250 MHz clock within the specified tolerance across the full industrial range.
Supply range, standby, and the power-down decision
Active current is 32 mA max at 250 MHz — that is the full-speed draw including the LVDS output stage.
Package, footprint, and field-swap reality
The SMD package with exposed pad measures 7.00 mm x 5.00 mm, seated height 0.90 mm. The pad is also the only ground connection; the six signal pins are the supply, output, enable, and no-connects.
