MEMS oscillator at 108 MHz with LVPECL output
The MEMS resonator replaces a quartz crystal, giving better shock and vibration immunity and faster start-up than a traditional crystal oscillator — relevant for networking gear and industrial controllers that see mechanical stress.
Supply range and power-down mode
Supply voltage spans 2.25V to 3.6V, so the oscillator can run directly off a 2.5V or 3.3V rail without an intermediate regulator. Max supply current is 58 mA when active; the Standby (Power Down) function drops consumption to 95 µA max, letting the system gate the clock during low-power sleep states.
Package and board-fit note
Housed in a 6-SMD, No Lead package measuring 2.50mm x 2.00mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm — the small footprint saves board area but demands a well-tuned stencil aperture to avoid solder voids on the LVPECL output pin. Supplied in Tape & Reel (TR) for automated pick-and-place; the 6-SMD package is MSL-rated per JEDEC, so check the moisture-sensitive label before reflow — bake it if the floor life has been exceeded.
Available for order through independent distribution; quoted to order against the BOM quantity. No pin-compatible second source is listed, so the DSC1102DI5-108.0000T is the sole order code for this frequency and output combination.
