156.25 MHz LVPECL MEMS oscillator for timing-critical boards
The DSC1102DI1-156.2500T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator delivering a 156.25 MHz LVPECL output — the clock frequency commonly used in 10-Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and high-speed serial links where the LVPECL swing provides tight edge placement and low jitter into 50-ohm terminated lines.
Microchip lists the DSC1102DI1-156.2500T as Active. The 2.25V to 3.6V supply range means the oscillator can share a 2.5V or 3.3V rail without an external LDO — one less part to qualify on the BOM.
6-SMD no-lead — layout and handling
The 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm 6-SMD no-lead package is a standard MEMS oscillator footprint. Supplied on Tape & Reel, the part is compatible with pick-and-place for volume assembly. The MEMS die inside is inherently shock-resistant compared to quartz — no crystal blank to fracture under vibration.
