48 MHz MEMS oscillator for harsh environments
The DSC1101DM2-048.0000T is a 48 MHz MEMS-based XO from Microchip's DSC1101 series, delivering a CMOS output across a 2.25V to 3.6V supply range. The MEMS resonator gives it better shock and vibration tolerance than quartz — relevant when the board sees mechanical stress from launch, drilling, or heavy equipment.
Standby mode and supply flexibility
A standby (power down) function drops the supply current to 95 µA max when the output is disabled — useful for battery-powered or intermittently operated systems that gate the clock without a separate power switch. The wide 2.25V to 3.6V supply range covers 2.5V and 3.3V rails directly, eliminating an external LDO and simplifying the power tree.
The surface-mount package is supplied on tape and reel for automated assembly.
