40 MHz MEMS clock for harsh environments
The DSC1101DM1-040.0000T is a 40 MHz MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator from Microchip's DSC1101 series, delivering a CMOS output across a 2.25V to 3.6V supply range. The MEMS resonator construction gives it better shock and vibration immunity than a quartz crystal — a practical advantage on a factory floor or in a vehicle-mounted PCB.
Standby power-down and package
A standby (power-down) function drops the supply current to 95 µA max when the output is disabled — useful for battery-powered systems that gate the clock to save energy between active periods. The 6-VDFN package measures 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm, a compact footprint for space-constrained boards. Surface-mount assembly follows standard reflow profiles for DFN packages.
