MEMS oscillator replacing a quartz can
The DSC1101DL5-052.8000: This is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator — the base resonator is a silicon MEMS structure, not a quartz crystal. At 52.8 MHz it drops straight into a CMOS clock input that expects a standard oscillator output; the 6-VDFN package (2.50mm x 2.00mm) is smaller than a typical HC-49 crystal can, so the PCB footprint shrinks.
Lifecycle status is Active per the manufacturer — no last-time-buy window or end-of-life notice. Sourced through independent distribution against your BOM quantity; availability confirmed at RFQ.
Industrial temperature band and standby power
The standby (power-down) function drops supply current to 95 µA max — useful for battery-backed or duty-cycled designs where the oscillator idles between active bursts.
Supply flexibility and frequency stability
Frequency stability is ±10 ppm, tight enough for most Ethernet PHY reference clocks and serial-link applications where jitter budget is tight.
