100 MHz MEMS oscillator for industrial clock trees
The DSC1101DL1-100.0000 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) delivering a fixed 100 MHz CMOS output — a drop-in clock source for Ethernet PHYs, FPGAs, or MCUs that need a clean reference without the startup time or fragility of a quartz crystal. Rated -40°C to 105°C, it fits industrial environments like outdoor telecom cabinets or factory-floor controllers where ambient temperatures swing beyond commercial limits. The supply range spans 2.25V to 3.6V, so it runs directly off a 2.5V or 3.3V rail without an external LDO — one less part on the BOM.
Standby function and power-down savings
A dedicated Standby (Power Down) pin drops the supply current to 95 µA max when the oscillator is disabled — useful for battery-powered sensors or IoT nodes that sleep between transmissions. Active current is 35 mA max at 100 MHz, typical for a MEMS oscillator at this frequency; the power-down mode extends battery life without a load switch.
Package and board layout fit
Housed in a 6-VDFN measuring 2.50mm x 2.00mm with a seated height of 0.90mm — a compact footprint that fits dense PCB layouts alongside fine-pitch BGAs. Surface-mount assembly with standard reflow profiles; the MEMS resonator is inherently more shock-tolerant than quartz, reducing handling breakage during pick-and-place.
Sourced through independent distribution; quoted to order against the BOM quantity.
