MEMS-based 36 MHz clock source with standby
The DSC1101DI5-036.0000 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) that outputs a fixed 36 MHz CMOS clock. The MEMS resonator replaces a quartz crystal, giving faster startup and better shock/vibration immunity compared to a traditional crystal oscillator. A standby (Power Down) function drops the supply current to 95 µA max when the output is disabled, useful for battery-operated systems that gate the clock during sleep modes.
Supply voltage and package fit
The supply voltage range of 2.25V to 3.6V lets this oscillator run from a 3.3V or 2.5V rail without an intermediate LDO. Maximum supply current is 35 mA at full load. Housed in a 6-VDFN package measuring 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm, the footprint is compact enough for space-constrained PCBs. Surface-mount assembly with standard reflow profiles; no special handling beyond normal CMOS ESD precautions.
It is available for new designs and production builds.
