16 MHz MEMS clock source with standby
The DSC1101DI5-016.0000T: The MEMS resonator eliminates the quartz crystal start-up time — the oscillator is stable within microseconds of power-on, which matters for applications that cycle the clock tree to save energy.
Standby mode and supply flexibility
A dedicated Standby (Power Down) pin drops the supply current to 95 µA max when the clock is not needed, while the active mode draws 35 mA max — the standby current is low enough to leave the oscillator powered during a system sleep state without draining the battery. The supply voltage range spans 2.25 V to 3.6 V, covering common 2.5 V and 3.3 V logic rails without an external regulator.
Package and board-fit note
Housed in a 6-VDFN package measuring 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm — the small footprint suits space-constrained designs, though the VDFN land pattern requires careful solder-paste stencil aperture to avoid tombstoning during reflow.
