What this MEMS XO brings to the clock tree
Runs on a wide supply range of 2.25 V to 3.6 V, covering 2.5 V and 3.3 V logic rails without an extra regulator. The standby function (power-down) pulls the output to high-Z and drops the current draw to near zero — useful for battery-powered designs that need to shut the clock off between active bursts.
Where it fits and what it saves
The 6-VDFN package measures 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm — small enough for space-constrained PCBs in IoT nodes, portable instruments, and compact communications modules. Maximum supply current is 95 µA, which makes it a strong fit for always-on sensor hubs, battery-backed real-time clocks, and low-power wireless microcontrollers where the clock oscillator can dominate the sleep-mode budget.
