The DSC1101DI2-012.0000T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC1101 series, delivering a fixed 12 MHz CMOS output with a ±25 ppm absolute pull range. The MEMS resonator gives this oscillator faster startup and better shock/vibration tolerance than a quartz crystal — relevant if your board sees high-g environments or needs to be ready from cold in under a millisecond. The 35 mA max supply current at 12 MHz is typical for a MEMS oscillator at this frequency; budget it into your power rail sizing.
Industrial temperature grade and standby power-down
The standby (power-down) function drops the disable current to 95 µA max — useful in battery-operated designs that sleep between measurement intervals. The 6-VDFN package measures 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm. The 0.50 mm pitch pads require a solder-mask-defined pad on the PCB; the small footprint leaves room for decoupling capacitors close to the supply pin.
It is suitable for both new designs and production replenishment.
