Maximum supply current is 95 µA at 40 MHz — the MEMS resonator draws less than a quartz equivalent at this frequency, which matters for a sensor node or a portable instrument that runs on a coin cell. With the standby pin asserted, the oscillator stops and the output goes high-impedance; the system can wake the clock in microseconds, avoiding the millisecond start-up penalty of a quartz crystal.
The 6-VDFN package measures 2.50 mm × 2.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm — a compact footprint that fits under a shield can or on a dense mixed-signal board.
