MEMS clock source for power-sensitive boards
The DSC1101DE2-045.1584T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator delivering a 45.1584 MHz CMOS output from a 2.25V to 3.6V supply rail — a common frequency for Ethernet PHYs, USB controllers, and serial transceivers that need a clean clock without a quartz crystal's external load caps. Max supply current is 95 µA, which means this oscillator adds under a tenth of a milliamp to the system power budget — relevant for battery-operated gateways, sensor nodes, or any always-on peripheral clock.
Commercial temperature range and package
Housed in a 6-VDFN package measuring 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm, it takes up roughly the same board area as a small SOT-23 regulator, which helps when the layout is tight.
