The DSC1101CM2-016.3840 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC1101 series, delivering a 16.384 MHz CMOS output with ±25ppm frequency stability across the full -55°C to 125°C military temperature range. Unlike quartz oscillators, the MEMS resonator provides faster startup and better shock/vibration immunity — a real advantage in avionics, missile guidance, or downhole telemetry where the board sees extreme thermal cycling and mechanical stress.
