MEMS oscillator for 72 MHz clocking with ±10 ppm stability
The MEMS resonator eliminates the quartz crystal start-up time and vibration sensitivity typical of conventional oscillators, making it suitable for industrial and outdoor telecom environments where mechanical shock is a concern.
Supply voltage flexibility and standby power savings
Operating from 2.25V to 3.6V, this oscillator directly interfaces with 2.5V and 3.3V logic families without an external level translator, simplifying the power rail design. The Standby (Power Down) function reduces current consumption to 95 µA max when the enable pin is deasserted, allowing the system to cut clock power during sleep modes without a separate gating circuit. Active current draw is 35 mA max at 72 MHz, which is typical for a MEMS oscillator at this frequency and load.
Active production status and sourcing posture
