MEMS oscillator replaces quartz with better ruggedness
Unlike quartz crystal oscillators, the MEMS resonator is inherently more resistant to shock and vibration — a meaningful advantage for systems deployed in motor drives, outdoor telecom cabinets, or engine-bay electronics where mechanical stress can pull a quartz crystal off frequency.
Supply voltage and standby power-down
The oscillator operates from a 2.25V to 3.6V supply rail, covering both 3.3V and 2.5V logic domains without an external LDO — a single rail serves the entire clock tree. When the system enters a low-power sleep mode, the standby (power-down) function disables the output and drops the supply current to 95µA max, preserving battery life in duty-cycled sensor nodes or portable instruments.
It is suitable for both new designs and ongoing production. Sourced through independent distribution; quoted to order against the BOM quantity.
