45.1584 MHz MEMS clock for commercial boards
The DSC1101CE5-045.1584 is a Microchip MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator delivering a 45.1584 MHz CMOS output from a 6-VDFN package measuring 3.20mm x 2.50mm. The supply voltage spans 2.25V to 3.6V, so it runs off a 2.5V or 3.3V rail without a separate LDO — one less part on the BOM.
It fits indoor equipment, office peripherals, and consumer electronics — not an engine bay or outdoor base station. The absolute pull range (APR) is ±10ppm, which sets the frequency accuracy floor across temperature and aging. For a 45.1584 MHz clock, that is about ±452 Hz of total drift — tight enough for most UART and Ethernet PHY reference applications.
Power-down standby and supply current
Active supply current is 35mA max, typical for a 45 MHz CMOS output driving a 15 pF load. Budget this into the 3.3V rail — it is not a low-power oscillator, but the MEMS core keeps it well below a canned crystal oscillator's draw.
