MEMS oscillator at 11.2896 MHz — audio clock fit
The DSC1101CE1-011.2896 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) that outputs a CMOS clock at 11.2896 MHz — the frequency used for 44.1 kHz audio sample rates (256× oversampling) and related video pixel clocks. Its supply voltage spans 2.25V to 3.6V, so it runs directly off a 2.5V or 3.3V rail without an intermediate LDO. The absolute pull range (APR) is ±50 ppm, which holds the frequency within tight enough bounds for most serial and audio interfaces but not for precision Ethernet or GPS holdover.
The 6-VDFN package measures 3.20 mm × 2.50 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm, a compact footprint for space-constrained PCBs.
