100 MHz MEMS oscillator with full military temperature range
The DSC1101BM2-100.0000T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator delivering a 100 MHz CMOS clock output across the full -55°C to 125°C military temperature range — a combination that quartz oscillators struggle to hold without a heater or a ceramic package. Supply voltage spans 2.25 V to 3.6 V, so the same oscillator can feed a 2.5 V FPGA bank and a 3.3 V processor without a level translator — just route the output to both loads and verify the fan-out against the 35 mA max supply current.
Standby power-down and package footprint
The 6-SMD no-lead package measures 5.00 mm x 3.20 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm — a standard 5x3.2 mm footprint shared by many MEMS and quartz oscillators, so a board layout designed for a SiTime or Epson part can often accept this Microchip device without a respin.
