The DSC1101BM2-050.0000: The MEMS resonator eliminates the quartz crystal's mechanical failure modes under vibration and thermal shock — a clean clock source for avionics, downhole instrumentation, or satellite payloads.
Supply flexibility and standby power savings
The 2.25V to 3.6V supply range lets the oscillator run directly from a 3.3V or 2.5V rail without an intermediate LDO — one fewer part on the power tree, one less dropout voltage to budget. When the system sleeps, the Standby (Power Down) pin drops supply current to 95 µA max, preserving battery life without a dedicated load switch.
