22.1184 MHz MEMS oscillator — what it buys the BOM
The DSC1101BL5-022.1184: A 22.1184 MHz MEMS-based XO eliminates the external quartz crystal and load capacitors — the resonator is inside the package, so the PCB layout only needs a supply bypass cap and the output trace. CMOS output drives the clock input of a UART, MCU, or CAN transceiver directly; the 22.1184 MHz frequency is a standard baud-rate generator for 115200 bps and its multiples.
Rated -40°C to 105°C, the oscillator holds ±10 ppm stability across the full temperature band — a fit for outdoor telecom, engine-bay electronics, or factory-floor controllers where a standard 0–70°C XO would drift out of spec. Supply range 2.25 V to 3.6 V covers 2.5 V and 3.3 V rails without a separate regulator; max draw is 35 mA active and 95 µA in standby (power-down) mode.
