Active MEMS oscillator for precision timing
The DSC1101BI5-024.5760T: Its wide supply voltage range of 2.25V to 3.6V lets it run from common 2.5V or 3.3V rails without an extra regulator, simplifying the power tree on mixed-voltage boards.
Standby function and disable current
A Standby (Power Down) function drops the supply current to 95 µA max when the output is disabled, making this oscillator suitable for battery-powered or intermittently operated equipment where the clock tree must be gated to save power. When active, the maximum supply current is 35 mA, which includes the MEMS resonator and output buffer drive.
Package and board layout fit
Housed in a 6-SMD no-lead package measuring 5.00 mm x 3.20 mm x 0.90 mm, the DSC1101BI5-024.5760T uses a standard footprint shared by many MEMS and quartz oscillators — the land pattern is straightforward for reflow assembly and does not require via-in-pad. Supplied on Tape & Reel (TR), it is ready for automated pick-and-place in volume production.
