MEMS oscillator at 27.12 MHz – why the resonator matters
Supply range and standby power-down
The supply voltage range spans 2.25 V to 3.6 V, covering common 2.5 V and 3.3 V rails without needing a separate regulator — a single 3.3 V rail powers the oscillator directly. In active mode the oscillator draws 35 mA max at 27.12 MHz — budget this into the rail's total load when sizing the upstream LDO or DC-DC converter.
Housed in a 6-VDFN package measuring 5.00 mm x 3.20 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm max, the footprint matches industry-standard 5.0 x 3.2 mm oscillator pads — a drop-in replacement for many quartz XOs of the same size.
