100 MHz MEMS oscillator for extreme-temperature boards
The DSC1101AM2-100.0000 is a 100 MHz XO (Standard) oscillator built on a MEMS resonator, delivering CMOS output across a 2.25V to 3.6V supply range. Frequency stability holds to ±25 ppm, which keeps the clock edge jitter within the timing budget for a 100 MHz bus without a separate PLL clean-up.
Standby mode and supply flexibility
A dedicated Standby (Power Down) function drops the supply current to 95 µA max when the clock is not needed — useful for battery-operated or intermittently powered systems that wake on a separate event. The wide 2.25V–3.6V supply rail lets the oscillator share a 2.5V or 3.3V plane directly; no extra LDO is needed for the clock source.
Package and footprint for layout planning
Housed in a 6-SMD, No Lead Exposed Pad package measuring 7.00mm x 5.00mm with a seated height of 0.90mm — a standard 7050 footprint that matches many legacy crystal oscillator pads. The exposed pad is not electrically connected but provides a thermal path to the PCB copper; a solid ground-plane via cluster under the pad improves heat spreading in high-ambient environments.
