Supply voltage and temperature grade for industrial environments
Supply voltage spans 2.25V to 3.6V — one part covers both 2.5V and 3.3V logic rails without a separate regulator, simplifying the power tree. Operating temperature is -40°C to 105°C, the industrial band. That covers outdoor base stations, factory-floor PLCs, and under-hood automotive modules (though the part is not AEC-Q100 listed).
Frequency stability and supply current
Frequency stability is ±10 ppm — tight enough for 100BASE-T Ethernet, USB, and most serial interfaces without needing a TCXO.
The 6-VDFN exposed pad package measures 7.00 mm x 5.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm — a standard 7x5 oscillator footprint that matches many quartz XO footprints, so a board designed for a quartz part can often accept this MEMS oscillator without a layout change.
Active production — ordering and programming
The part ships blank; you program the frequency using Microchip's TimeFlash field programmer or the factory programming service. No external programmer is required if you order pre-programmed from Microchip or an authorized distributor.
