48 MHz MEMS XO with ±10ppm stability and CMOS output
The MEMS resonator replaces a quartz crystal, eliminating the startup-time jitter and vibration sensitivity that plagues quartz oscillators in motor-drive and outdoor telecom environments.
Wide supply range and standby power-down
Supply voltage spans 2.25V to 3.6V, covering 2.5V and 3.3V logic rails without an external regulator. The standby (power-down) function drops current consumption to 95µA max — low enough to keep the oscillator alive on a backup battery during system sleep.
Active lifecycle, sourced to order
Product status is Active per Microchip. Sourced through independent distribution — quoted to order against the BOM quantity.
6-SMD no-lead exposed pad package
Housed in a 7.00mm x 5.00mm 6-SMD no-lead exposed pad package, seated height 0.90mm max. The exposed pad provides a thermal path to the PCB copper plane — critical for dissipating the internal MEMS driver heat in high-ambient environments. The no-lead design reduces parasitic inductance compared to a gull-wing package, keeping the 48 MHz CMOS edge clean.
