MEMS oscillator at 7.68 MHz
The DSC1101AE2-007.6800T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator delivering a 7.68 MHz CMOS output. The MEMS resonator gives it better shock and vibration tolerance than a quartz crystal, and it eliminates the startup-time uncertainty of a crystal oscillator — the output is valid within microseconds of power-up.
Supply range and standby function
Wide supply range of 2.25V to 3.6V covers common 2.5V and 3.3V rails without an external regulator. The Standby (Power Down) function drops supply current to 95 µA max — useful for battery-powered equipment that needs to stop the clock between active periods.
Rated for -20°C to 70°C, this is a commercial-temperature oscillator suited to indoor electronics, office equipment, and appliances. The 6-SMD package (7.00mm x 5.00mm, 0.90mm seated height) is a standard MEMS oscillator footprint — the exposed pad on the underside improves thermal transfer to the PCB ground plane.
