33.333 MHz clock source for industrial and battery-powered boards
The DSC1033DI2-033.3330 is a 33.333 MHz MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator with CMOS output, operating from a 3.3V supply rail. Active current draw is 3 mA typical, dropping to 1 µA in standby (power-down) mode — a meaningful saving for a sensor node that sleeps between reads.
MEMS oscillators typically withstand higher shock and vibration, and their lead times are often shorter because the resonator is fabricated on a standard CMOS line rather than cut from a quartz blank.
Product status is Active per Microchip. The 4-SMD, no-lead package (2.50mm x 2.00mm x 0.90mm) is a common footprint — no special layout or via-in-pad required.
