It is not recommended for new designs, and no direct pin-compatible successor is cited in the official record. Available through independent surplus distribution in lot-specific quantities; availability confirmed at RFQ.
27 MHz MEMS oscillator with standby mode
This is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) in the DSC1033 PureSilicon™ series, delivering a 27 MHz CMOS output from a 3.3V supply. The standby (power-down) function pulls the disable current to 1µA max, making it suitable for battery-operated or duty-cycled systems where the oscillator must shut down between active periods.
The 4-SMD no-lead package measures 2.50mm x 2.00mm with a seated height of 0.90mm — a compact footprint for space-constrained PCBs.
Frequency stability and supply current
Frequency stability is ±50ppm, which holds the clock edge within tight tolerance for UART baud-rate generation or MCU timing without external trimming. Typical supply current is 3mA max at 27 MHz, keeping the thermal contribution low in dense layouts.
