MEMS clock for 12.288 MHz signal chains
The DSC1033DI1-012.2880 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator from Microchip's PureSilicon™ series, delivering a 12.288 MHz CMOS output from a 3.3 V supply. That frequency is a common multiple for T1/ telecom rates and audio sample clocks — it divides cleanly to 8 kHz or 48 kHz without a PLL.
Standby function for power-sensitive designs
The 1 µA disable current is the leakage floor through the MEMS die and the CMOS output buffer — no external load switch needed to disconnect the oscillator during sleep.
Industrial temperature range and frequency stability
For a 12.288 MHz clock, ±50 ppm keeps the timing error within one bit period at common serial data rates.
Housed in a 4-SMD, No Lead package measuring 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm.
The DSC1033 family is Microchip's current MEMS oscillator line; the DI1 suffix denotes the 3.3 V supply and the ±50 ppm stability grade.
